Cards
The game is played with the same cards as briscola, divided into same groups.
Card points and importance differs from briscola:
The most important card is three (3), worth 3 points
Second most important is two (2), worth one point
Ace (1) is worth one point
King, Knight and Jack are also worth one point
Cards 7, 6, 5, 4 have zero points
Four (4) is the least important card.
All cards sum up to 32 points.

Game
Tresette can be played in two, three or four players. If there are four players, they are divided into two teams (oponents sit right next to each other). If there are three players, one card is excluded from the game, usually a four (4) from a random group.
When the deck is shuffled, all players get an equal number of cards. In the game of four players, every player has 10 cards, in the game of three players, every player has 13 cards.
The first player in the round can choose to play any of his cards. Others need to play the cards that are in the same group as the first card. If a player does not have a card in the same group, he can play any card, but cannot win the round. The player that wins the last round gets 3 extra points.
When all the player have played their cards, all the points are sumed up and the winner is the player (or team) with the highest number of points.
In Chi fa meno game, the winner is the player with the lowest score.
